This Thursday night, August 20th, the NLRA will race for the second time in three weeks, and for the final time for the 2020 season, at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN. This will be the twenty-first visit by the series to the three-eighths mile oval on the Norman County Fairgrounds.

The three race NLRA weekend swing concluded at the Devils Lake Sepedway last Saturday night, and it was Brody Troftgruben parking the No. 14 Gateway Auto Tech Rocket in victory lane, becoming the first driver to win their first NLRA main event since 2016, and the 52nd winner in series history.

The series made it's return, for the first time in nearly three years, to the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN last week, and it was Dustin Strand who scored the win in the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium SRT. It was Strand's first Late Model win at the three-eights mile oval on the Norman County Fairgrounds since 2012, and his 22nd series win overall, fifth best on the all-time list.

This Thursday night, July 30th, the series returns to the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN, for the first time in three years. The race is scheduled to be the twentieth visit by the series to the three-eighths mile, semi-banked, dirt oval on the Norman County Fairgrounds.

Jeff Wildung, driver of the No. 50 Veit Companies MB Custom, and Don Shaw, driver of the No. 42S Shaw Trucking Rocket XR1, split the Traditional Labor Day Dobule at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN. Wildung lead all twenty laps to score his fourteenth NLRA win, and twelfth at Viking. Shaw's win is his eleventh NLRA series win, and the sixth year in a row that his has one at least one of the two features contested at Viking on Labor Day weekend.

This Saturday night, August the 31st, and Sunday night, September the 1st, the NLRA takes part in another edition of a popular staple on each season's schedule, the Labor Day double header at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN. The races are scheduled to be the 44th and 45th times that the High-flyin' Half Mile on the Douglas County Fairgrounds will host the series, the most of any track in series history. It's also the tenth year in a row, and twelfth overall, that the club is scheduled to spend Labor Day weekend at Viking.

Chad Becker, driver of the No. 12B Aberdeen Wings MB Custom, turned a rainout at the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD earlier in the day, into an NLRA victory Sunday night at the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND. The win is Becker's third career NLRA series victory, and first since 2010 at the Red River Valley Speedway on the old half mile, as he continues his pursuit as the current Wissota national point leader, to become a two-time national champion.

This Sunday night, the NLRA returns to the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon, ND, for the only appearance of 2019. This is scheduled to be the thirteenth appearance by the series at the semi-banked, quarter-mile oval on the Ransom County Fairgrounds.
